It has been a while since I posted anything under the Full Moon Edition category. Seen as today (8th October, 2014) was the full moon lunar eclipse (Blood Moon), it gave me a reason to search for some relevant photography and this is what I stumbled upon…Mike Olbinski. I blogged about Mike’s crazy storm photography a couple years back.
If you are fascinated with storms as I am, you will fall in love with these photos that offer a glimpse into the wild fiery freakish nature of our planet.
When Mike Olbinski is not photographing weddings, he chases storms across Arizona, Oklahoma, Colorado, Texas and California, to bring us these awe-inspiring photos. On his website, Mike mentions that his fascination with storms began in childhood-
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been obsessed with weather. I used to watch lightning out my window with my brother when we were little. I have pictures of clouds I took while in high school.
And now I chase storms.
What better way to celebrate the blood moon than to gaze into the eye of the storm…through the comfort of your own home of-course!
